1. How do I add a new student?
Adding a new student is easy. Simply navigate to your list of learners and click the button “Add New Student.” Also, upload the entire student database through MyPlan Master csv uploading. Go to “contact us” page and send us a message to get help with this process.
2. How to use the MyPlanPA dashboard?
The MyPlanPA Dashboard is designed to give a “bird’s eye view” while allowing staff members to drill down quickly for improving workflows and completing audits of certain PA work-based learning mandates, such as ACT 339 and ACT 158. The graphs are interactive and can be used for identifying target groups of learners by cluster for industry program opportunities, portfolio monitoring, graduation pathway planning and implementation, and work-based learning monitoring and supervision.
3. How do I set up an internship?
● Navigate to Work-based Learning Main Page on Student Menu
● Toggle Switch Next to Internship
● Click Save
● Navigate to Internship that has appeared in student’s side menu
4. What is ACT 158 Graduation Pathways?
ACT 158 Graduation Pathway is a new state initiative in PA in which all public school seniors will need to satisfy one of five pathways to be eligible for graduation. See this ACT 158 Graphic from PA for a quick visual explanation of the 5 pathways. The school district uploads data into MyPlanPA, which automatically feeds the ACT 158 page and assists school personnel in planning and implementing the necessary steps for students’ journey through their pathway.
5. How do we customize our MyPlanPA site in order to update our lists for portfolios, high school plans, and other items?
Our custom csv templates allow districts to modify and customize many listed items throughout MyPlanPA. See your school’s MyPlanPA district Administrator to coordinate changes to lists. For example, each gradeband portfolio completion list should be modified in order to match your district’s requirements. Default values will be assigned until the district completes and submits new changes to the MyPlanPA support desk.
6. How do I get parents and supervisors to sign work-based learning paperwork?
MyPlan PA makes collaborative wbl paperwork simple. Navigate to the necessary work-based learning page, click on “Send Signature Request to Parents” or “Supervisor” and they will receive an automatic email requesting their signature on the corresponding paperwork.
